Super Bowl LI is here- get ready for this year's famous Super Bowl commercials! Honda announced that they'll be participating in the Big Game off the field as usual, this time with an ad for the all-new 2017 Honda CR-V. Honda's Assistant VP says, "The Super Bowl is the appropriate stage to introduce America to the bold and sophisticated new Honda CR-V." So far, Honda has been keeping the creative hidden, but you don't have to wait until the Super Bowl to check out the 2017 Honda CR-V.

Honda's 2016 Super Bowl commercial featured the Honda Ridgeline truck and its bed audio speaker system. The ad featured a herd of sheep singing along with Queen's "Somebody to Love."

Honda ran a Super Bowl ad in 2014 too, which had action star Bruce Willis promoting Honda as a leading manufacturer of "top safety rated cars in America." As part of the #hugfest, Bruce portrayed a family man who instructed everyone watching to hug their friends and family members.

In 2012, Honda's Super Bowl commercial had Matthew Broderick (aka Ferris Beuller) promoting their Honda CR-V. Spoofing the original Ferris Beuller's Day Off, Matthew Broderick calls in sick and spends his day driving around in a CR-V joined by a giant panda.

2017 Super Bowl is expected to have over 100 million viewers, but Honda hasn't released the details of the commercial. The 2017 Honda CR-V officially went on sale on December 21 and is the fifth-generation of CR-V models. Over the 20-years that the CR-V has been in production, it's had almost 4 million sales, making it the best-selling utility model since it's inception.
